 LET’S SHARE TOGETHER

Share with me your story

Please be willing to hear mine

Share with me your wisdom

I’ll share ways and means I found mine

Reveal your life’s losses and finds

I’ll share my own apportioned line*

Does your attitude rightly align

While I examine my own in kind?

The right attitude helps us unwind

The static, uncomfortable inclines

That we must control for the decline

Of separateness and one-island confines.

~~ Mary Handy Moore

*Measures of Destiny. No more, no less. A line is infinite in space. Points (in time and space) are positions on a line. Let a point in this case be a Star. We are that.

TUMBLING WEEDS

The weeds, never self-rooted, not restrained by

Wills of their own, but by the wills of Other.

Many tumbleweeds stroll by, being propelled

By the winds of time; some good, some ill.

The triumphs and traumas embedded in them

Serve as scenes from afar that one witness as

A judge, like a movie to be viewed and reviewed,

As an unction to be acted upon or discarded to let die.

What mean they, what they meant, should mean,

Should have meant. Images as the past teleported into the

Present, portending a future whose roots are in

The distant and not-so-distant past, yet eons past,

Ages past, eons more, ages more, lives past. Yesterday,

Yesteryear. The past, grandfathers of the present.

The present, grandmothers of the future.

What will the future be – let the

Tumbling weeds be the silent instructors.

Our future is the witness to the past.

The pasts, witnesses to the present.

The future has no will of its own – it is the

Outcome of the wills of the past and the

Present. Whatever the future will be must

Be established in the present where the past

Is being worked out, which present in

The future is the past. And in all of these, the

Maker of all things is there also. Tumbleweeds.

(Thinking on and watching images in the mind, what they mean, what they don’t.)

10 and 10. 25 and 5. 13 Lives.

 Buffalo Massacre

https://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/ny-buffalo-supermarket-shooting-gendron-tops-202

Unless Payton Gendron goes out of his mind he will have the memory of these 13 souls whose bodies he eliminated from the earth.

Unless he goes out of his mind he will remember every face. Unless he goes out of his mind he will remember every feature. Unless he goes out of his mind he will remember every synopsis of each person the judge described in the ears of all. He will remember - unless he goes out of his mind.

Payton Gendron methodically, meticulously researched, plotted, planned, stalked the premises, and prepared himself in every way that led to that evil decision to carry out what he did on that fateful day - to innocent members of a community that had no suspicion of what would happen to them before the day was over.

"There is no place for you or your ignorant, hateful, and evil ideologies in our civilized society," the judge said.

10 and 10. 25 and 5. 13 Lives

While the judge says "no mercy for you, no understanding, no second chances" for him in threes - no mercy, no understanding, no second chances - he meets what he set up - in threes.

10 and 10. 25 and 5. 13 Lives

For 10 and 10. For 25 and 5. For 13 Lives,

"You will never see the light of day as a free man again," the judge said.

MAY YOU BE COMPLETELY RESTORED

CB, 55; ZG, 20; JW, 50

CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE AND POWER

RD, 32; HP, 67; PY, 77; RW, 86; CC, 65; AS, 55; AM, 53; MM, 52; KM, 72; GT, 62

As you sow with intent so shall you also reap with intensity. The wages of sin is death in some form or other - no "light of day as a free man again". You sowed the wind and now you will reap the whirlwind. [Galations 6:7; Romans 6:23; Hosea 8:7).

LAST RITES

May you find mercy, understanding, and a New Day in the Light of God the All-Divine and All-Merciful. Amen.

My philosophy of the banana peel

“Obviously, God has something to say about the relationship between sin and righteousness.  That is another discussion.  For now we need to realize that sin is a function of behavior.  It is not a quantity that must be removed or a substance that I am born with.  It is all about what I do – each and every day.  God says He will never alter His willingness to bring me into right relationship with Him.  He will always accept my decision to turn to Him.  But I have to choose what I am going to do about His invitation.  What I choose to do either encourages the relationship or frustrates it.  Even James assumes this dynamic when he says that sin is knowing what is the right thing to do and not doing it.”
https://www.skipmoen.com/2010/09/a-philosophy-of-sin/

I thought on the commercial about the banana peel and its status as a banana peel; it was still a banana peel when I thought it through. Imagine thousands and millions of people who are continually fed the lie that the banana peel is really not a banana peel ("people get hurt"). “Are you sure it is a peel? Is it possible that you do not have it right? Are you sure the information is valid? Can you be sure it is not a pomegranate instead of what you think you see?” These types of questions are legion.

Imagine if this scenario is continually fed into the psyche of certain types of personalities or souls if you will. Imagine how propaganda can defunct some people’s ability to “rightly divide the word of truth” (2Tim 2:15) if they ever had the ability in the first place. The latter would be very sad indeed. That would mean that the right way was known yet forsaken for the sake of mammon of some sort, mammon or love or admiration – these are also mammon if I, for example, see them as self-preservation or serving the personal self selfishly with no thought of the well-being of others. That is the pity. To know what is right and refuse to do it, is sinful. What is sin theologically or philosophically? I found a deep thought in the above quote about sin.

I suggest this article by Skip Moen (September 2010) shows sin as what humans do for or against the better angel nature, which we are born with; the other side of this coin is that of being “altogether born in sin” and “iniquity.”  I suggest here that this appeals to knowing what the right thing to do is yet refusing to do it, is sin – as the verb; on the other hand, I fully understand what it means and its application as a noun. That is what inspired me about this commercial. In all things, life is a progression or regression – from light (right thought) to darkness (error, confusion, deceit, etc.). It is a choice to progress – or regress, but it is still a choice until we make the ultimate choice; then it is “Not my will…” when choice becomes internalized when we no longer struggle in the war between the right and wrong thing to do, sometimes called the “Will to Good.” By personal experience, I know this to be true in my continual progress toward the light.

Maya Angelou - The bird uncaged

http://www.biography.com/people/maya-angelou-9185388

On May 28, 2014, the bright shining star of I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, Maya Angelou, died. She was one of the most magical spirits in the world, who left too soon (if some of us had our way) after Madiba (Nelson Mandela) moved on to his long home before her.  So much has been said of Maya Angelou, some not beautiful at all, but deplorable by people who, because of their own insecurities, stereotype other people.  Maya's personality type was that of a strong, Spiritual, and fearless Humanistic aspect, which ran the gamut of what goodness and dignity are.  Her beginnings were very humble, as can be seen in her autobiographies.

Maya Angelou's brilliant intelligence could not be hid because she had a mouth, with a voice that moved some people to fear and others to awe.  She was that powerful.  Her commanding presence was like the tallest mountain.  I suggest that Maya Angelou was of Humanistic Personality Type because of her many traits that fit the aspects of that type:

She of course believed in free will, simply because human beings have a will (unless they give it away to a foreign entity, such as drugs, for example).  Maya used her will to make things happen for the good of many. She mistakenly, as young children can misunderstand, thought that her voice had killed a man because at that age, she knew she had power for something.  Maya kept her voice caged for five and a half years before she spoke again.  That was a very early revelation of her willpower.  Then, she began to speak.

As triumphs and tragedies continued in her life, her indomitable will persevered through every one of the bad times and she basked in the good ones as her star rose higher and shone even brighter.  Maya became a boon to many and a bane to many others.  She believed in the solace of education and the gifts it brings.  She believed in brotherhood and tried to spread it all over the world through the way she lived in her world.

She was humble in her faith yet strong in her powers.  Maya Angelou's understanding of life helped her see through the dark veils of illusion to Still I Rise.  Maya has mentored the thoughts of countless world students whose lives she touched; they now carry the torch as humanitarians of all kinds.   Maya Angelou died, but her legacy lives on: in and with us.
